Kodak's Prinergy Connect Workflow
Victor Graphics uses Prinergy Digital Workflow which is a complete management system to organize prepress,and plate production. Prinergy's page-based workflow provides Victor Graphics with the ability to provide fast editing and proofing cycles. Its integrated Oracle® database monitors and records every step in the workflow allowing Victor to prioritize jobs, quickly diagnose and correct errors.
Prinergy interprets a job in the workflow up front, but doesn't render until just before output allowing flexibility in prepress. The page-based workflow only applies an imposition template to the job at the time of output.

Prinergy supports multiple industry-standard file formats and connects to a wide variety of output devices. Pringery's Digital Master produces a PDF that allows customers to make last-minute changes using PDF editing tools or to send it to the customer for electronic proofing.

  • Digital Master includes high-resolution images, which should be optimized and/or compressed to reduce the sizes for efficient handling.
  • The press-optimized PDF is trapped, color-managed, and stored in CMYK color space. These are the highest-quality PDF's produced.
  
  Additionally, Victor Graphics offers remote or "soft" proofing. Customers receive a .pdf proof via e-mail or FTP for both initial proofing and corrections. Please contact your customer service representative for more details.
