FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VICTOR GRAPHICS INSTALLS KODAK DIGIMASTER DIGITAL BOOK FACTORY
October 19, 2009
Baltimore, Maryland -- On Monday, October 12, 2009 Kodak completed the installation of a new Digimaster EX300 Digital Book Factory at Victor Graphics, Inc. Reese Hicks, President of Victor Graphics, commented that “a significant number of our customers will see benefits from our new high speed digital book production system. We now have a greatly enhanced short-run book printing platform doubling our current digital capacity.” One main advantage of the Digimaster EX300 digital production system over other digital platforms is the fully integrated in-line perfect binding and trimming capability. This “Book Factory” system, from paper roll to bound book, eliminates the handling required with other traditional digital book printing systems where binding is done off-line requiring more time and costs. Victor’s fully automated Digital Book Factory increases the speed of production, reducing schedules, and drives down costs. Products such as Advance Reader Copies (ARC’s), custom publishing “Re-binds”, Victor’s Courtesy Copy Program, and short-run backlist reprints are all well suited for this operation.
With the addition of the Digimaster EX300 to compliment the company’s Kodak NexPress for short-run, high quality cover printing, Victor Graphics digital printing operation is a perfect fit for your next project. For more information on Victor Graphics’ digital book production system please contact Kerri Edgar, Marketing Coordinator kedgar@victorgraphics.com.
