Thomas H. Hicks is Elevated to Chairman of Baltimore Book Printer

Baltimore, MD – Reese Hicks has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of Victor Graphics,a book manufacturing company located here. Thomas H. Hicks, who had been President of the company since its inception on April 1, 1983, will become Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Reese Hicks will continue to serve as Vice President of Operations for the time being in addition to his duties as President.

“The decision to name Reese as President was a measured one,” said Thomas Hicks. “It was the result of careful deliberation as to the future and direction of the company. We considered all options,
including taking the step to have the company valued for sale. Passing the company to the second generation of the Hicks family is testimony of our commitment to our customers, and our confidence in the future of the book publishing industry,” Hicks indicated.

“I’m pleased to be taking on the responsibilities of President,” said Reese Hicks. “We have recently committed more than $4 million toward improving our capabilities and production quality with the addition of two new presses. I look forward, along with others, to leading Victor Graphics to even further growth and success going forward.”
